Our waitress offered a quick summary of the pie of the day (steak and ale) curry of the day (chicken madras) and soup of the day (sorry can’t remember what this was).
Sold on the curry, my choice was full of lovely chunks of chicken, crunchy peppers, mushrooms and onions. Served with saffron rice, chips and mini naan breads, it was fantastic!
Hubby chose the lamb shank which literally fell off the bone, accompanied by mash and steaming hot veg. The Stanley burger swung it for my son with added bacon to the meaty homemade burger, cheese, chips and coleslaw. Delicious!
If this was my local I would be here all the time!
